A Swedish brewery St. Eriks has created world’s most expensive potato chips. Find out the cost of this packet of your favourite potato chips below. 

St. Eriks has made this record of making the most expensive potato chips in the world. The exclusive chips are sold in batches of five. That means you only get 5 chips in one packet.

The batch costs around Rs. 3700 ($56.17) i.e. Rs.750 per piece. 

What’s so special about this?

Exclusive ingredients from the Nordic region and finely crafted by the talented chefs of Swedish National Culinary Team, the chips perfectly pair with St. Eriks India Pale Ale.

Chef Pi Le says, 

All of the ingredients are of a stature that not many will have tried before. 'These chips are an excellent accompaniment to craft beer, or simply enjoyed on their own.

The chips come in five flavors namely truffle seaweed, matsutake mushrooms, crown dill, leksand onions and Indian Pale Ale. 

The brand manager Marcus Friari says, 

A first-class beer deserves a first-class snack, and this is why we made a major effort to produce the world’s most exclusive potato chips. We’re incredibly proud to be able to present such a crispy outcome.

All income generated from the sale of these chips will be donated to charity according to St. Eriks official website.

But there is a catch to this 

The five piece chips set is a limited edition 100 boxes and currently out of stock.

The company might consider making more but the flavors may change.
