Bullet Stunt Gone Wrong - Watch What Happened Next - Video

David Blaine who is a popular American Magician and an endurance artist came into headlines just a day back for his failed magic trick.  Obviously the magic is all about tricks , but it might happen when this magic tricks could failed very badly. In one scene when this illusionist attempted a stunt called the ‘bullet catch’ he tried to catch the bullet shot in his mouth, but unfortunately the bullet was shot at the back of his throat.

This stunt was filmed live at the Last Vegas in the November but luckily the death was escaped by a very thin margin. Although David practiced thoroughly how to put this trick in front of the audience but it went little beyond the expectations and he hurt himself. 

In this stunt, he held a metal cup between his teeth which was saved by gum shield. This was the restricted area where the bullet was supposed to be hit.

But when the bullet hit the gumshield, it got smashed because of the wrong impact.

David Blaine himself explained the whole thing – 

“When the bullet struck the cup, there was a high-pitched ringing in my ears and I felt an impact on the back of my throat,” Blaine said in the video. “I was sure the bullet went right through my head and that I was dead. Suddenly I became aware of the pain and it brought me back. At that moment I realised that the mouth guard had shattered again, and I was alive,”

The magician was then taken to the hospital. The funniest part is that one of his assistants asked him never to do this magic again he replied – 

We’re going to do it right. That’s the end of the story.”
