This Person Has Created An Actual Wand That Casts Spells

This person was a huge Harry Potter fan. While talking to one of his friends who was a technologist, he got the idea to make a “smart wand”. Both started brainstorming on the idea and landed up finalizing their decision to make a wand for “Muggles”. (Muggles were the people in Harry Potter series who could not use magic)  

The process was painful but they came up with a smart device. 

They made the real smart wand from Harry Potter which could cast 5 spells

It took one and half month to complete it and the wand actually functions.

One of their favourite spell is Lumos, which turns on lights using magic

All the 5 spells tested well and one of his friend Kira who herself is a huge Harry Potter fan tested its spells. The wand was also programmed to place a food delivery order and it did that very well.

Cantis (makes the target sing), Nox (turns off light), Silencio (silences the target), Accio (summons an object).

They made it using 3D printed components

The components include wires, battery, switch, wifi, voice recognition module, mic, microcontroller, powerboost, vibrating motor (for signaling if the spell is recognized), etc.

The technologist places components inside it

The voice command feature was also tested. They connected it to wifi connected smart switches, which were connected to speakers/lamp and also delivery.com to summon food items.
