The 10 Kind Of Guests That All Have Confronted

We are always taught to treat guests with respect. 'Atithi Devo Bhava', a popular reiteration is an esteemed practice in our culture. We love our home to be treated by guests. There are new thoughts and new things to share upon with different people as the guests arrive.

The problem occurs when they start getting on our nerves. What makes it even worse is when they descend upon our house to havoc. The nice ones who do not stay for long are on in a million. Just hug them tight when you come across.

For the rest, they take an undue advantage of your mehmaan nawaazi.

1. The guest who never leaves!

They ignore all your hints and requests for leave. Instead, they keep its flowing so that they never have to leave.

2. The one who eats in every 2 hours

Free stuff excites them. You spend most of your evening cooking or ordering food.

3. The one who knows nothings about personal space

They ask awkward questions to you and bulge their head into each of your activity. They tell everything about their lives as well.

4. Ride the guest back to their home

They insist on dropping them to their home even if you straight away deny doing so.

5. Guests who can’t shut their mouth

They never stop talking. They speak so much that you cannot hear even your own voice. If you try to strike a conversation with them, it’s always one sided.

6. Guests who never control their kids

They let their kids scream and run around in the house like a playground. Their kids will play with your décor antiques and the caretakers see them smiling. They never supervise whatsoever happens.

7. The guest who touches your stuff without permission

You know this kind. They enter into all your rooms, observe everything and ask ‘Ye kya hai?’ and unnecessary give you their what they think ‘valuable suggestions’.

8. The gossip kings and queens

It only used to be aunties before but now even the uncles start spilling about everything they know even if you are not familiar and in no way related to it.

9. The guest marketeers

They come with a motive to sell something or the other. Insurance policies or the Tupperware items, they have their schemes and products along.

10. Guest who talks about your home

They say stuff like ‘your house is small but beautiful’, ‘hall is tiny but I like your additions’, etc.
